Event List

In the Events workspace, each individual row of Event List includes details about an event.

If an operating procedure was configured for a specific event, this icon indicates that assisted treatment is available to handle that event.

Status of the event source:

  • Active (event source is in an off-normal condition)
  • Quiet (event source is back to normal)

The entire System Browser path of the object that issued the event.
Whether the name or description displays, depends on the current display mode.

Event source, that is, the object property that issued the event.
Whether the name or description displays, depends on the current display mode.

Event cause text consisting of the description of the event followed by the condition (either numeric value or descriptive text) that caused the event.
For example, Temperature too high (39°C), Fault (INACTIVE), and so on.
This description changes when the event source passes from the Active to the Quiet state.

For BACnet Event Enrollment (EE) events, it also indicates that the alarm limit was violated.

Date and time when the event occurred.
Typically, event time displays with resolution hh:mm:ss:ms.

Number of recurring events, if any (except for UL/ULC profiles, where events are listed individually).

Note that:

Event Icon

An event row starts on the left-hand side with an event icon (graphic indicator) that summarizes some of the most important information about that event. The event icon flashes until you acknowledge its associated event.)

  • Management System
  • Building Infrastructure
  • Building Automation
  • Fire
  • Security
  • Energy Management
  • Notification

Category color. The events that occur in the building control system belong to categories, which are color-coded by severity.
An event flashes when its source is active until it becomes solid color when its source is quiet.

Out icon. In UL/ULC profiles, this icon represents the restore of the alarm condition.
