Create a Trend

You can create the Trend widget displays the live and historical trend series values from the devices. For background information, see Trend Workspace.

  1. In the dashboard, select the Trend from the Create widget list.
  2. Click Next.
  3. The Create widget page opens.
  4. Click Add to select the data point.
  5. Select the source from the list and click Select.
  6. Select the Data point from the drop-down.
  7. The Trend widget is created and displays the live and historical trend series values from the devices.
  9. Pause and Resume the data flow in the trend chart using the icons and .
  10. Repeat the steps 3 to 5, if you want to add another trend in the same chart. You can add up to 5 trends on the dashboard.
    If the multiple data points of same units are added to the trend, then the data points gets appended in the same chart and displayed.
    Similarly, If the multiple data points of different units are added to the trend, then the data points are displayed in the separate charts.
  12. Click Create to add the widget to the dashboard.
  13. Click Save.
  1. The Trend is created in the dashboard.
