Dashboards Workspace

In the Flex Client, select Desigo CC root node to see the Dashboards workspace from system, area, and device nodes. The Dashboard contains widgets, options to define the timeline, and actions to modify the dashboard and the widgets.

Displays the dashboard name. Expand the drop-down to Create new dashboard or to select the dashboard that is already created.

Displays the default period for the dashboard and its widgets. It allows you to define the default period to fetch data from the devices and display it in the widgets for the selected period. This selection is applicable only to the Consumption chart and Trend widgets on the dashboard. For more information, see Default period.

Displays the widgets that are added to the dashboard. Editing dashboard allows you to resize the widget, change the location of the widget in the dashboard. Except Data point card, all the widgets contains to maximize and to minimize the widgets.

The Consumption chart contains the option to zoom-in to the chart and the option to refresh the chart to fetch the live values.

The following widgets can be created in the dashboard:

  • Consumption chart
  • Trend
  • Data point table
  • Data point card
  • Gauge chart
  • Grouped list card
  • Line area chart
  • Condition monitoring

Actions

You can manage the dashboards using various options available in the Actions drop-down.

- Edit dashboard: Allows to change the Dashboard name, Default time period and contains Set as default dashboard to set the default dashboard that is displayed while navigating between area folders.

- Set as default: Allows to set the default dashboard that is displayed while navigating between nodes.

- Delete dashboard: Allows to delete the dashboard.

- Apply dashboard config: Allows you to copy current dashboard configuration to another system/area/device either with or without source.
With source: Allows you to copy the current dashboard configuration, including the source, to the destination system/area/device.
Without source: Allows you to copy the current dashboard configuration, excluding the source, to the destination system/area/device. The source of the destination device will be applied automatically.

Allows to edit the dashboard, where you can modify the existing widgets and add new widget to the dashboard.

Clicking the icon on the dashboard, enables the following editing options:
- Enables and icons in all the widgets to edit and delete the widgets.
- Except Data point card, all the widgets contains to maximize and to minimize the widgets.
- The widgets can be resized using the icon at the right bottom of each widget.
- Click on the widgets and drag the widgets to move it anywhere in the dashboard.
