User Sessions

This section provides background information for User Sessions. For procedures or workflows, see the step-by-step section.

User Session displays information about all currently active user sessions on the management station. If “Administrate” security privilege is active, you can also delete a current user session using the End Session button.

The user session view includes several columns of information about each session:

Description

User

Name of logged-in user

Station

Station where user is logged in

Type

Session type, for example “Primary Web”

Profile

Profile name for active user

Logon Time

Start time for a session

State

Is the session active?

Access Point

Displays the client in use by the user. For example: Installed Client, Windows App Client. If the client entry point is via the WSI, the Instance Name (Instance Number) displays. For example: Default Instance (77)
