Energy Management Tab Workspace

The Energy management tab contains default widgets for the configured device in the Installed Client. Based on the device type, it displays the device status, average values, total energy consumption, gauges for minimum and maximum values, energy consumption comparisons, and trends. In other words, it replicates the Operating view of the Installed Client.
The Energy management tab can be viewed from Application View > [System/Area/Sector/Device], for all supported devices. The devices includes standard devices, logical devices and imported devices such as Modbus, BACnet, Virtual, and IEC Generic devices. For these imported devices, the Energy Management tab with default widgets is displayed based on the Device Type Favorites configuration in the Installed Client.
You can create and edit widgets from this tab. For more information on creating and editing widgets, see Create a Widget under Create a Dashboard and Widget and Edit a Widget under Edit a Dashboard and Widget.

1	Define the time period to fetch the device data and display the data in the widgets. This option is applicable only to the Consumption chart and Trend widgets. For more information, see Default period.
2	Actions	- Provides the Apply dashboard config option, which allows you to copy the same configuration to another device of the same type, including the source. This option copies only the widget configurations, and the timeline settings are not included when you copy configurations. - Edit dashboard: Provides the timeline option to change time period for the Energy management tab.
3		Modify the existing widgets and add new widgets to the Energy management tab. For more information, see Edit a Widget. Provides the following options: - Create widget: Add widgets to the Energy management tab. - Restore default settings: Retains the default Energy management tab configuration. This option restores only the widget configurations when you restore configurations. Timeline settings are not restored and remains the same as the last modified settings. - Cancel: Discard the changes made. - Save: Save the changes made. - : Edit the widgets. - : Delete the widgets. -  and : Maximize and Minimize the widgets. Except the Data point card widget, all the other widgets contains these options. - Resize the widgets by clicking and dragging the bottom-right corner of the widget.. - Click and drag the widgets to move it anywhere on the Energy management tab.
4	Displays widgets showing device status, average values, total energy consumption, gauges for minimum and maximum values, energy consumption comparisons, and trends for the configured devices in the Installed client. Based on the selected device type and its configuration, the widgets are displayed by default in the Energy management tab. For example, the Trend widget is displayed by default for the Calculation logical device. You can also modify or add widgets as needed.
