Calendar Manager Synchronization Behavior
Once a primary and subordinate calendar have been linked, synchronization happens overnight. You can also sync all linked calendars at any time using the “Sync” button.
Limitations on the Primary-Subordinate Calendar Relationship
Within Calendar Manager, the BACnet calendar located on any given device can be either a subordinate calendar or primary calendar, but not both. It is not possible for a BACnet calendar on a device to be both primary and subordinate at the same time.
Primary-subordinate calendar relationships have a “one-to-many” structure (one primary calendar can control many subordinate calendars), but any given subordinate calendar can be controlled by only a single primary calendar.
Both the primary and subordinate devices must use the same BACnet driver.
Troubleshooting
The Calendar Manager fails to list the device and calendar object name for a device.
Desigo CC may not locate the names of the all the devices in your field network. As a fallback option, it will read the BACnet Device ID and Calendar Object ID number directly from the device. Although the names are missing, the calendars of these devices will still sync with others in your network. In some cases, this may be desirable behavior: third-party devices which are not fully imported can still have their calendars configured as subordinates.
